Barons Court Area Guide
Situated next to the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, this region attracts buyers looking to be more centrally located.
Olympia, Barons Court & West Kensington (W14)
Located in the east part of LBHF close to the A4, Barons Court, West Kensington and Olympia have always appealed to professionals looking for easy access into Central London and the convenience of being near Kensington.
Thanks to its proximity to Kensington, large parts of the region are conservation areas with listed buildings, giving it an elegant and timeless feel. It’s where the old meets the new, with gracious Victorian buildings rubbing shoulders with contemporary architecture.
Like the rest of LBHF, these regions of the borough have a good selection of independent and state schools; Normand Croft Community, Avonmore Primary, Fulham Prep, St Mary’s Primary and Addison Primary all score well.
The area has a good array of travel options. It’s a short hop by tube to the West End from Barons Court (District Line and Piccadilly Line), West Kensington (District Line) or Kensington Olympia (British Rail and District Line), as well as on a host of bus routes.
The A4 is minutes away for those driving to both Central London and Heathrow airport.
With Olympia Exhibition Centre, The Queen’s Club and all the traditional pubs, modern restaurants and bars, the choice is yours.
